<biography>Julian, "Julie" Lee was a truly outstanding multifaceded athlete.

As a star basketball point guard for East High School, Julie's heroics led his 1946 team to the coveted Sectional Title, the highest possible tournament achievement of that time. He was named as an All Sectional Player and named to the All City 2nd team, only because each team was not allowed to have more than one player on the first team. The great Al Masino took the highest honor. In Julie's junior year, he made the All City 3rd team. Julie was an outstanding defensive specialist and an unselfish play maker.

Following his great East High career, he went to the University of Buffalo and was the starting guard on the freshman team. He made the varsity as a sophomore, but opted to hit the books instead.

But while still at East High, Julie was a soccer star in 1944 and 1945. He was also an excellent swimmer and was the Captain of the Charlotte Lifeguards.

In 1948 Julie played semi-pro basketball for the JYMA, along with Al Masino and Carl Baker went to the finals, only to lose to Walter Dukes who was flew in just for the game.

But if that's not enough, Julie was a terrific handball player. He won the City Doubles title once and placed second two other times.

Julie served his country in the US Marine Corp and was a three sport star. He excelled in basketball, baseball and softball.

Julie resides in Pittsford, NY with his wife Carol.
