Sports broadcaster and announcer…1985 Brighton High grad…3 sport letterman in football, baseball and wrestling… began calling play-by-play of varsity wrestling matches for Brighton’s community access cable TV channel… at SUNYOswego did radio and TV broadcast work on college station for hockey and baseball… first post graduate position in 1989 was PA and radio announcer for Geneva Cubs minor league baseball… also broadcast Hobart College football and lacrosse culminating in calling 1990 Lacrosse Division III National Championship game… from ‘91-’97 was announcer and color commentator for several teams in Carolina Minor League baseball and NCAA college baseball… in ‘98 landed spot as first PA announcer for Washington Mystics of Women’s NBA… shortly after took over same role for Washington Wizards of NBA when Michael Jordan made comeback with team… both roles continue to present day… had short term spots in Washington area for Pro Hockey, Major League Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Pro Soccer… highlight of career to date was his selection to be a PA announcer for NBA’s 50th Anniversary All-Star game in 2001 in DC… also does part time work at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and officiates High school wrestling in Northern VA.
