Jason Wasserman- Bowler extraordinaire, outstanding baseball player and multi-sport coach
Jason is a top-notch area bowler and the quintessential Jewish bowler of the last decade. How do you spell perfect…300! Jason has had eight (sanctioned) perfect games so far and remarkably four 800 series in league play. His highest season ending average is a hefty 237! Furthermore, Jason was instrumental in starting the Brighton High School Bowling Program and has been the Varsity Head Bowling Coach since 1998. Brighton has captured the Monroe County Championship three times and Jason has been named the Monroe County Coach of the Year twice. He has also earned the honor of being named the Monroe County Chairperson.

Baseball has always been a love of Jason’s. Not only was he a three-year starter for the Brighton Barons and has the unique distinction of earning 1st Team All-County Honors two times. Jason captured the Bruce Proper Award as a senior. He continued his career and was an American Legion All-Star and the Big League Most Valuable Player. Jason continued his stellar career playing two years at the University of Charleston, WV.
In 2004, Jason was named the Brighton Varsity Head Baseball Coach, a position that he still holds. His team competed in the Sectional final game in 2006. Jason is also the Baron’s Varsity Head Football Coach. He was named to the position in 2008.

Currently Jason is a physical education teacher at Brighton High School. Jason resides in Brighton. He is married to Angela and they have two children, Trent and Alex.
