Rochester Jewish Sports Hall of Fame

Howard first took up the sport of fencing at RIT and became that school’s Fencer of the Year in 1968, compiling a 27 and 3 mark. Howard went on to win Western New York titles in foil, epee, and sabre events. He was a member of the U. S. Army fencing team, finishing 24th in a worldwide tournament.
