Gary Robinson

Gary starred in two sports at Irondequoit High, earning All County recognition in football in both 1967 and 1968. He captained the 1968n squad. The Victor resident competed too on the Indian’s varsity wrestling team in ’67 and ’68. His college career was cut short by a knee injury but he did play for a brief time at RIT under Tom Coughlin, who became a winning Super Bowl coach with the NY Giants.

Now a member of the Victor Parks , Recreation and Sports Advisory Group, Robinson helped spearhead a drive that resulted in a $2,5000,000 sports complex that has provided new state of the art facilities for baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and football.
